Professional Statement
Dr. Natarajan Suresh Khanna or “Dr. Suresh” as he is simply called (or even sometimes as “Dr. NSK”) is a specialist consultant in general surgery.
He moved to Singapore in 2013 to work in the Hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) service, Department of Surgery, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Subsequently he was selected for the ACGME-i accredited General Surgery training in the NHG Residency Program in July 2014. He was awarded M.Med Surgery by the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2018.
During his residency training in Singapore, he received the Young Investigator Award for Clinical Research in 2017. He and his team won first place and a trophy and medal in the International Golden Scalpel Games conducted by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2019. He secured the ABSITE exam top score award among senior residents in 2021. Dr. Suresh was awarded the FRCS Edinburgh and was accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB) of Singapore Medical Council (SMC) in January 2022. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore since 2022.
